I feel the calculated emissions for my aircraft are not correct. What can I do?

Modified on Sun, 24 Mar at 2:44 PM

Our CO2 estimations are based on ADS-B or MLAT data combined with a fuel flow profile. The fuel flow profile may be a generalized profile for the aircraft type and may not account for specific models. Additionally, some other factors like aircraft load are not factored into our algorithm.

When you create an account on Climate.aero, you can generate your own fuel flow profile tailored to your specific aircraft model and operational procedures. Our algorithm will then use your specific parameters for future CO2 emission calculations.

Furthermore, you can refine the calculated emissions for past flights. However, we may request proof for the data you provide.
